Our superhero’s of STEM used the TinyBots Creature Garden App to complete our last STEM PROJECT for the year!!!!
The Creature Garden is an open-ended construction kit that gives kids hundreds of parts to create and play with. Kids can race their creatures through obstacle courses, see if they will (or won’t!) walk, swim, and fly, and cross creatures to make new breeds. This app helps students to help develop creative-thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
First, students created their creatures on iPads.
I took pictures of each creature, numbered them, and posted the completed animal here on our Superhero’s of STEM Blog.
Next they wrote sentences describing in detail about the creature they created.
Finally, after editing their writing pieces, students typed their writing pieces onto our comment section of this blog post.
It is all about the details that you add to your writing to describe the creatures you have created!!!!
